The Boris generator.For sinker EDM.
It generates and controls the spark, drives the axes, and connects the machine to the plant. With the B‑Spark software included.
Compared with an EDM machine from 5 or 10 years ago: finer finishes, less electrode wear, and shorter machining times.
Designed in Italy, it is the same system behind our retrofits.

What it brings to your machine.
From the spark to the plant.
Erosion technology
More removal, less wear
Power boards and process control developed in house, for stable machining and fine finishes.
Discover the technology8 axes · 18,000 mm/min
Fast, coordinated axes
Drives up to 8 axes simultaneously, with traverse speeds of up to 18,000 mm/min, to cut the time the machine spends not cutting.
OPC UA · EtherCAT · PROFINET
Ready for robots and the plant
An open CNC that talks to robots and the plant PLC through the most widely used industrial protocols.
B‑Spark included
One application for the operator
Prepare, program, and follow the job in the same software, remotely too.
Discover B‑Spark
More removal, stable machining.
Over 30 years of EDM experience.
Work faster, with no arcing
Higher removal rates and stable machining, with no parts ruined by arcing.
Minimal electrode wear
Electrodes wear less and last longer.

How it works
The PCU, the unit that controls the erosion process, keeps the spark constantly moving. Energy never concentrates in a single spot: arcs do not form, and machining stays stable even at high removal rates.
The experience behind the boards
Power boards and process control come from the experience of Paolo Marzola, who led R&D at CDM Rovella for more than 30 years.
B‑Spark.
The operator’s work, in one application.
It is not a generic interface adapted to the machine: B‑Spark is built from scratch around EDM work, to make it faster, more precise, and easier to automate.
